Opening of the Emergency Department at Azadi Teaching Hospital in Duhok

With the attendance of Dr. Ali Tatar, the Governor of Duhok, Dr. Afrasiab Musa, the General Director of Duhok Health, representatives of the German organization GIZ, the Health Workers Union – Duhok Branch, and representatives of all health unions in Duhok Governorate, the new Emergency Department at Azadi Teaching Hospital in Duhok was officially inaugurated.

This department was opened to enhance the hospital’s ability to provide faster and higher-quality emergency medical services to patients across the governorate.

The event marks an important step toward improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that citizens receive timely and effective medical care during emergencies.
